InWound
InWound is a Danish company that specialises in wound care.
They have developed FlashHeal: a class II light-based medical device intended for managing general skin conditions and more. The device was FDA cleared in Jan 2024.
Similarly, FlashClean, which is a later iteration of FlashHeal and features a 6-axis robotic arm that enables it to perform automated debridements using laser.
And their third products is the MIMR Optics. MIMR stands for Medical Imaging and Monitoring for Recovery and is the common name for out imaging and wound platform solution. MIMR Optics is the hardware component: a hand-held medical device with advanced hyperspectral imaging capabilities that allows for real-time detection of bacteria, inflammation, and wound size measurements.
InWound joined NOME in 2023.
