What the Mentees Say

The NOME Programme

Discover the NOME programme components that accelerate your growth.

The heart of the NOME experience. Each selected startup is paired with a dedicated team of 3-4 world-class mentors - seasoned leaders from the global life science industry who have been in your shoes and know what it takes to win. Over a two-year period, these mentors provide strategic guidance through regular online meetings held every 4-6 weeks. The format is flexible, the advice is real-world, and the impact is transformative.

Accelerate your US market ambitions. The NOME US Program is an intensive, 5-day workshop tailored to make startups ready to work with the American market, raise capital in the US, navigate the FDA and clinical operations, open an office or subsidiary, and more. Held in Minneapolis (for medtech, healthtech, and diagnostics) or Boston (for biotech and enabling tech), the program offers expert guidance on US market access, fundraising, and more. Founders get tailored sessions with top-tier US-based professionals and high-value one-to-one meetings with investors, corporate partners, customers, and other key stakeholders. It is a deep dive into the American ecosystem with real outcomes.

C-level Sessions are exclusive, founder-to-founder roundtables designed for startup executives in the NOME program.

Each session brings together 4-6 C-level leaders to openly discuss real challenges, share insights, and exchange advice.

These peer-to-peer conversations focus on the topics that matter most to company leadership—strategy, growth, team dynamics, fundraising, and more.

It’s a confidential and collaborative space where startup leaders support each other with practical experience and honest dialogue.

The sessions foster trust, perspective, and lasting connections across the NOME community.

A mentoring opportunity in NOME when you need highly focused, tailored support. In addition to structured team mentoring, startups can request individual mentor engagements to dive deep into specific challenges, be it strategic decisions, technology development, investor readiness, or almost anything else. These flexible sessions can be one-off consultations or evolve into ongoing relationships, depending on your needs.

Tap into the power of the life science industry. NOME partners with leading life science corporations to give startups direct access to expert feedback, market insight and commercial perspectives, and real opportunities for collaboration and co-development. These partnerships bring invaluable credibility and practical value to startups aiming to scale fast and smart.

Once a year, NOME gathers top Nordic, European, and US-based investors for a unique investor-startup matchmaking event.

What makes it special? Highly curated NOME companies, an informal, low-pressure atmosphere, and a near one-to-one investor-to-startup ratio. This is not your typical investor event - it is a high-value opportunity to connect, pitch, and build relationships that matter.

When you join NOME, you join a network that goes far beyond mentorship. It is a trusted ecosystem of innovators, mentors, investors, and industry leaders united by a shared ambition to help shape the future of life sciences.

Whether you are navigating international expansion, refining your go-to-market strategy, or raising your next round, the NOME community is here for you with support, resources, and meaningful connections. Stay plugged in through the Annual Summit, ongoing seminars, matchmaking events, and new initiatives continuously rolled out by the NOME team.
