WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

WHAT WE PROVIDE

All mentors are selected from among the best life science experts in the Nordics. They are selected based on their experience, their skills as advisors and their desire to assist others.

The duration of the program initially is 18 months, however it can be extended another 6 months. The frequency of the mentor meetings is dependent on the specific requirements of each project or start-up.

Partnership with the University of North Carolina grants us unique access to companies in the US market and opportunities for early stage testing.

NOME takes no fee or equity. All services including tailored mentoring and consultation are without charge.

The Novo Nordisk Foundation, Medicon Village, Turku Science Park, Oslo Cancer Cluster, Aleap, Vertical and Accelerace have joined forces ensuring a unique combination of life science expertise and entrepreneurial knowledge.

FAQ

Applicants who meet the selection criteria will be chosen to join the program. Projects must be Nordic based start-ups with a focus on medtech, biotech, pharma or digital health with high commercial potential.

There is no application deadline. We review all applications on an ongoing basis and will respond to your application as soon as possible. If you have any questions regarding your application, please contact Valentin Lubbe, Program Director at val@accelerace.dk.

The program does not charge for the mentorship service. NOME nor its partners take any equity or fees.

NOME is only for life science projects and start-ups from Nordic countries.

The program will focus on projects and teams with high commercial potential. The first step is an application that will be evaluated by Accelerace, Medicon Village, KI Innovation, Turku Science Park, Vertical or Oslo Cancer Cluster and Aleap. A relevant NOME partner will interview the applicant to gain a better understanding of the project, the team, ambitions and the project needs. The last step is a presentation to the steering committee for a final selection of projects to be offered the NOME mentoring service.

You are welcome to suggest mentors with whom you’d like to work. However, we cannot guarantee you will be matched with your suggestions. We ensure you will receive the best mentors based on the needs of your project.
